Maju Tech Con and my experience

A few days before I got chance to arrange an event with name of Maju Tech Con(Mohammad Ali Jinnah Technical Conference).Arranging that event was a challenge for me because that was my first event that I had to organized.

   The main theme of that event is to guide students for their future and  bring the industry and academia closer to each other.
My one teacher Azmat Khan helped me very much to arranging that event by getting permission, making team and guiding me.

All team did well job but two team member specially did awesome job.Haris Zubari and Shoaib Jaffery.Haris was totally responsible for creating website (http://majutechcon2009.tk)and recording all event and streamed it over Internet.Shoaib was responsible for creating internal volunteer team for security, parking auditorium ,guest reception and refreshment.

  After creating team I had to arrange speaker. I requested to Microsoft Pakistan , Sir Zia (Operation badar) ,OSRC , Soban Khan from Etilize (Pvt) Ltd and Jehan Ara from P@sha for speech in this conference. Fortunately all accepted my request and got ready to join us.

Yasir Mobeen

  After speakers arrangement I had to arrange host.I requested to my friend yasir mobeen to host this event.he showed his agreement.

Zia Khan

  Our first speaker was sir Zia Khan(My teacher).I requested him to join us and share some stuff about of cloud computing to us,He is currently disparately working on cloud computing and I think he is best person for cloud computing.He shared benefits of upcoming next generation technology and how it can be beneficial specially for Asian firms.

 After sir Zia's session we arranged a session on Linux Ubuntu. This session was conduct by Anjum Kasiar from OSRC and me. The main intention for this session to make awareness Ubuntu and its friendliness.In this session we demonstrate Ubuntu UI and its friendliness.  

Soban Khan

 Next session we had planed on Java platform and the person I invited for this topic was my one friend Soban khan Head of IT Etilize (pvt) Ltd.I just say that He shared Java platform perfectly in very short time. He defined all Java stack ,SAI and IBM Students Initiatives .All guideline about Java platform for students and little bit about clouds companies available for Java.

After break we had three speakers from Microsoft.These speaker shared us Microsoft stuff for students and Microsoft Technologies.  

Naveed Bawja

Naveed Bajwa(Developer  and Platform Group Manager)  talked about Microsoft Academic Initiative. That was detail speech about dream spark, Microsoft Imagine Cup and Microsoft research centre for students.These kind things really help students.

Adil Mughal

  After  Naveed Bajwa we had session of Adil Mughal (MVP).He shared us dot net stack and new upcoming api of dot net framework etc.

Jibran Jamshed

 At last we had final and most important speaker Jibran Jamshed(also my teacher). he demonstrate Window 7 features , editions and operation system related stuff.

The main issue I faced in that event is time management,time management is very difficult at that kind of event.Overall event was awesome and I learned a lot with this event.
